The challenge

Only eight of Verdant's twenty-two people were local. A conventional office sat empty four days a week while the company paid for every square foot of it.

Their weekly all-hands was the one moment the whole company came together, and it was regularly derailed by unreliable conference equipment.

What we did

We converted their footprint into eight dedicated desks plus a generous pool of meeting room credit, so they pay for the room only on the days they use it.

The boardroom was configured as their standing Thursday all-hands slot, with our front desk running a sound and screen check before every session.

Visiting remote staff receive guest passes automatically through the member app, which removed a recurring administrative chore for their office manager.

Where they are now

Desk utilisation went from around a quarter to nearly two-thirds, and the company has not bought a single piece of conferencing hardware since moving in.

Seventy-eight consecutive all-hands have run without a technical failure — a statistic their COO tracks personally.

Our team is spread across three time zones, so the meeting rooms have to just work. In eighteen months of weekly all-hands the AV has never once let us down.
