What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

Workvlp operates a coworking building at 218 Fillmore Street, Suite 400, San Francisco, CA 94117. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. Questions can go to hello@workvlp.com and a person will answer them.

What we collect

We try to collect as little as we can get away with. In practice that means:

  • Contact details you give us — name, email, phone number and company, when you enquire, book a tour or become a member.
  • Membership records — your plan, invoices, keycard identifier and meeting room bookings.
  • Building access logs — the times your keycard is used at entry points, retained for 90 days for security purposes.
  • Website analytics — aggregated, cookie-free page view data. We do not build advertising profiles.
  • CCTV footage — recorded in communal areas and entrances only, retained for 30 days.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and arrange a tour.
  • To provide and administer your membership, including billing.
  • To keep the building secure and to meet our insurance obligations.
  • To send occasional member communications about the building. You can opt out at any time.
  • To comply with legal and accounting requirements.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we never will. We share it only with the service providers that make the building run — our payment processor, accounting software, access control provider and email platform — each under a written data processing agreement.

We will disclose information to law enforcement only where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become memberships are deleted after twelve months. Membership records are retained for seven years after your membership ends to satisfy accounting requirements. Access logs are kept for 90 days and CCTV for 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no ongoing legal reason to keep it, or object to a particular use. Write to us and we will respond within thirty days.

Cookies

This website uses a single functional cookie to remember your interface preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.

Our member app uses an authentication cookie that is strictly necessary for you to stay signed in.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will email members at least fourteen days before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
